This isn't 2001: A Space Odyssey, but we're living in the first Space Era race of the 21st century. Astroworld dropped last week, Elon Musk is sending rockets into space like Yeezy is dropping albums. Did we mention that Jeff Bezos, the richest person ever (not counting Vladimir Putin) is thinking 10 lifetimes into the future "a trillion people will live in space, there will be 'a thousand Einsteins and a thousand Mozarts' and we'll develop other planets, leaving Earth a beautiful place to be."
The space race is back, but Space Force is not spearheading anything.
So what can we expect from this new race? We're guessing more Sock Ankle Boots by Fendi and collaborations like this one with NASA x Heron Preston. But it's not just in fashion, we will likely see more modern space age movies, hopefully ones like 2001: A Space Odyssey, that predicted iPads nearly 70-80 years before their time. Or a reboot of The Jetsons! Can you imagine what the 2019 version would be like? The soundtrack and wardrobe would be 10x better. Think Elroy in some BBC vibing out to STARGAZING by Travis Scott. In 2018 the Jetson's will be a Black family from Wakanda.
We've been waiting for this Space Era for a while and it's started to feel real. Selfies on Mars isn't just a myth anymore. The colonies are up next and we're here for all of it.
Ultra rare is just the tip of the iceberg in describing the latest concoction by Aston Martin. Teaming up with Bowmore, a single-malt Whiskey dating all the way back to Scotland 1779, Aston Martin lent its DB5 piston, to create a bottle of whiskey unlike any other.
