Floating plants may not have been in the cards in many future predictions, but alas here we are. The genius Hyukjoon Choi designs are built using thin layers of reflective materials that give the illusion that objects put on these shelves are floating. 

Now that we've given you the secret sauce, let us tell you Mr. Choi's inspiration. Initially, Choi wanted to answer the introspective question: what if furniture is invisible? This eventually led to Mr. Choi deciding on creating a concept that imagined shelving and storage pieces to blend into the background of their surroundings.
