Built in 1996, the Museum of Contemporary Art is situated in the city of Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This futuristic landmark was designed by Oscar Niemeyer to house some of the world's finest exhibitions.

Niemeyer had this to say about his masterpiece:

How easy it is to explain this project! I remember when I went to see the place. The sea, the mountains of Rio, a magnificent landscape that I had to preserve. And I went up with the building, adopting the circular shape that, in my opinion, the space required "The study was done, and a ramp taking visitors to the museum completed my project.

As we see more futuristic architecture come about these days, this saucer style design is still ahead of its time. Louis Vuitton even used it as the backdrop for their 2017 Cruise Collection.
